How it works

Four steps, and you're in the room

No referral, no waitlist to join, and no account needed to look.

01

Browse the directory

No account needed. Filter for what matters to you, read profiles, and see who has openings.

02

Book a time

Create an account. Pick a slot from their calendar. Consultations are free. For sessions, you'll securely enter your payment details when you book, and you're only charged once the appointment takes place.

03

Fill in your intake, once

Written a single time, at booking. It goes to whoever you book with, now and later.

04

Meet

In person or by video. They'll have read your intake before you sit down.

If the fit isn't right

Changing providers shouldn't mean starting from scratch

Your account, your details and your intake stay with you. Book with someone else and continue your progress.

How it works
Therapist and client in a consultation

What you can book

Three kinds of appointment

Consultations

A short first conversation to see whether you and a provider are a fit, before committing to anything. Every provider offers one free 20 minute consultation per client.

Therapy and counselling

Ongoing sessions, weekly or at whatever pace the two of you agree on.

Assessments

Diagnostic and psychoeducational assessments, offered by the providers whose scope of practice includes them.

Who this is for

You don't need a reason you can explain out loud

People looking for ongoing therapy. People who want one conversation before deciding anything. People who've tried therapy before and want to try someone different. People seeking a formal assessment.

No diagnosis required, no referral required, and no threshold of difficulty you have to meet first.

Providers here see clients aged 8 and over who are located in Ontario.

For providers

Booking, payment, video and clinical records, in one place

Set your rates, choose who you work with, and keep your practice yours. Clients arrive having already told you why they're coming.

  • No monthly fee and no subscription
  • A quiet week costs you nothing

Questions

Before you start

Do I need an account to look?

No. Browse the whole directory without signing up. An account is created when you book.

How soon can I be seen?

Each profile shows the provider's next available appointment, and you can filter the directory by availability.

Is anyone available near me?

Virtual sessions work anywhere in Ontario. In-person availability depends on where providers are based, and the directory filters by location. A stable internet connection and a device with camera and microphone are required for virtual appointments.

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. Twenty minutes, no charge, and no obligation to book anything after it. Every provider on the platform offers one per client. Narrow your search to 2-3 providers before deciding on one.

What does it cost?

Providers set their own rates, shown on the profile and again at checkout. The platform itself is free and sessions are private pay, not covered by OHIP.

Where do I read more?

Safety and help covers verification, scope of practice, privacy and complaints. About us covers who we are.
