About Me

ACCEPTING 1 NEW CLIENT. Are you here because you are grieving? Feeling overwhelmed & alone with work, caregiving or in your relationships? Perhaps you’re asking yourself “Who am I now?” "Why am I like this?" I became a therapist because I’ve been there. I know what it’s like to lose yourself while holding everything together, to carry grief, question my identity, or having no sense of belonging when everyone else seems to have it all together. I offer a space where you don’t have to minimize your pain or do it alone. I support clients navigating anxiety, grief, identity, and/or spiritual trauma. I also support couples & conflict.

Together, we’ll explore patterns that once protected you but now hold you back, to help you to explore and reconnect with your authentic self. My approach draws from formal training in AEDP, IFS, EFCT, & somatic work, focusing on deeper healing and not just symptom relief. I believe lasting change happens when we feel safe enough to understand our story.

I have found my renewed purpose in becoming a therapist. My 24+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a Master of Nursing has provided me with comprehensive knowledge and skills to support you as a whole person, physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I believe in treating all people with compassion, understanding, and empathy. As an RN, psychotherapist, I also have knowledge on various types of medication, side effects and interactions as well as how stress, distress, and trauma can have an effect on the body and our nervous system.

I am also dually registered as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master of Psychospiritual Studies. My additional training has allowed me to deepen my psychotherapy skills as well as integrate spirituality in therapy sessions if you feel that it’s important to you. I support people of all faith or no faith at all. I do not believe in imposing my beliefs onto others.

I plan on walking alongside you every step of the way to explore your struggles and find ways to lessen the burden you are carrying.

I am a cisgender woman, Filipino-Canadian, Southeast Asian, middle-aged, heterosexual, able-bodied, middle-class, Christian, and I identify as more spiritual than religious.

As a first-generation Canadian, I understand the pressure to achieve and hold it all together. If you’re ready for deeper work, I offer a free consultation. No pressure, just a conversation. Virtual (Ontario) and in-person (Whitby)
