About Me

I am a Registered Social Worker with 26 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Throughout my career I have also had extensive experience working with “hard to serve” populations in a variety of social work settings. I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from University of Toronto and I have over 25 years of experience working in various Non-For-Profit agencies.

I provide support to youth, families and individuals experiencing ongoing verbal and physical conflict, challenges in parenting, mental health, substance misuse and other life challenges. I offer compassionate and sensitive support to children, adolescents, adults and families experiencing issues relating to anxiety, depression, stress, mood disorder, trauma, abuse and self-esteem.

My experience over the years has taught me that anyone is capable of change if they want it. Life is difficult and as people we face challenges that make us feel helpless or broken. However, I believe that we are also resilient and with support, we can get through any obstacles that come our way. I want to be a support to anyone facing these dilemmas by giving you a voice and providing the opportunity to be heard. My goal is to improve the lives of clients by enhancing their social and emotional growth and providing solutions to enhance their mental health and well-being. It is my job to be of service to you as a support in enhancing your well being. It will be a privilege to get to know you and work with you and I look forward to meeting you.

*Please note that I have a sliding scale which means that I am able to charge less than my listed cost because I know that money can be difficult at times so please don't hesitate to ask. :)
